Tina Thorburn - You Are The Difference! - GVI

Global Vision International is a non-political, non-religious organisation, which through its alliance with over 150 project partners in over 30 countries, provides opportunities for volunteers to fill a critical void in the fields of environmental research, conservation, education and community development.

In 2010, Tina entered an international campaign run by GVI entitled, "Are You The Difference?", which looked to highlight the essence of volunteering – the fun – the rewards – the importance.

By submitting a 90-second video showing why she was the difference through volunteering, Tina eventually beat off 19 other finalists to secure the grand prize...a round the world flight and global volunteer placements for one year with GVI.
